Take Your Mock Test And get an IMPRESSION of your progress

Get a feel for exam-day conditions with an accurate simulation of the Prometric/ Pearson Vue interface. eDental Portal's Self-Assessment Mock tests consist of questions presented in the official timed format.

The questions are different for different exams. We use real exam mimicking software, not quizes or google forms. At completion, dentists receive a score, score interpretation and performance analysis. You’ll be able to access and review your completed self-assessment Mock Test even after the event is over.

The Questions and Disciplines

Dentists and Specialists who take the self-assessment mock test cover a wide range of questions and topics that are likely to appear on the real DHA, MOH, QCHP exam. In our analysis of the results, we were able to see what proved to be the easiest and the most difficult disciplines and questions and accordingly a cut-off has been set.

When should I give my Mock test?

We recommend that your treat your Mock test as your actual exam, and only attempt it when you have completely finished learning all the questions and explanations on eDental Portal thoroughly. When you have finished learning all explanations and one round of revision, we encourage that you take the Test from eDental Portal

Take your Mock Test in the final week (at least 8 days) before your actual examinations. It allows you to judge where you stand in terms of your preparation while also giving you a fair amount of time to work over any weak areas. Mock test questions are unique questions, not part of our study mode, but part of our explanations that have previously appeared in exams.

The test is patterned in the format of actual exams you sign up for. It has the similar subject distribution as in the actual exam, so this will test your readiness and preparedness for the exam.

And what score is acceptable?

If you can score at least 75% in your Mock test on eDental Portal, this indicates you may pass the exam. However, we recommend that you score as high as you can (as prompted by the system) to increase your chances of passing the exam.

The purpose of eDental Portal's Self-Assessment Mock test is not to predict the score you will get when you sit the real exam, but rather to identify your strengths and weaknesses. The performance analysis will help dentists identify where they most need to focus their attention on.

When reviewing these topics, dentists can avail eDental Portal's powerful study tools such as the high-yield question bank, the extensive distilled explanations, and our popular filter features. With these features, dentists and specialists can deep dive into the areas they struggle with the most. This will close any knowledge gaps and help them pass their actual exams.
